WHAT IS A CAMPMASTER?

· Someone who would serve at council weekend camps and whenever Scouting units/families are using camp property. Set your own schedule annually

· Has People Skills - has ability to get along with others & lead people in case of emergency

· Has working knowledge of Scouting and the outdoor programs of the BSA

WHO CAN BE CAMPMASTERS?

· Anyone willing to support council camping activities—Individuals/Families*

· Possess outdoor skills, not necessarily an expert in all

· If not already a scouter, be willing to become a registered scouter - i.e. Retiree

· Age 21 and older

DUTIES OF CAMPMASTERS?

· Check units In/Out of Camp

· Assist camp ranger or other volunteers with special projects when requested

· Assist with emergencies

· Visit with units - Act as face of Council

· Relax and enjoy being at Camp!
