Spring Pow Wow & Wild Wild West Weekend
FRIDAY, MARCH 12 – SUNDAY, MARCH 14

The Spring Pow Wow and Wild Wild West Weekend will be held on Friday, March 12 – Sunday, March 14 at Camp Frank G. Lumpkin.   All Chattahoochee Wranglers are WANTED to attend this shindig to:

  • Saddle up for fellowship activities/quest games to include Ultimate Frisbee, Tug of War, Dodgeball, Wischixin, and other competitions to get ready to compete at Conclave at Camp Patten on April 16-18.   Prizes will be awarded to Top Posse/Ranchero.
  • Round them up and participate in service projects around the ranch on Saturday, March 13th.
  • Yeehaw, enjoy a Chuck Wagon dinner with all the fixings on Saturday night.
  • Dress up in your finest Western duds (Optional – cowboy hat, boots, jeans, western shirt, etc.) on Saturday night.  Must be Scout Appropriate, and all props must be cloth, plastic, or foam.  The Rancher will award prizes for the Best Costumes after dinner.

Start/Check-in Time:   Check-in will be held on Friday, March 12th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm EST in the dining hall.   Activities will begin at 9 pm EST. 

End/Check-out Time:  The weekend will end at 11:00 a.m. EST on SUNDAY, MARCH 14th.

Cost for Arrowmen:

  • Regular Registration Fee for Arrowmen (by Tuesday, March 9th) 

       *$30.00 for 1st Arrowmen - Cost includes meals, program materials, & the Chuck Wagon Dinner.

*$20.00 for Family Fee – Cost for each additional OA family member who is an active Arrowmen & is attending the weekend.

  • Do not be captured by bandits.  A late fee of $10 will be added to the costs above after Tuesday, March 9th.  Fees are nonrefundable after March 9th.  NO ONSITE REGISTRATION ALLOWED.  Registration closes at midnight on March 11th.
     
  • $25.00 for 2021 dues Please note: If you went through the Ordeal and become a member in October 2020, your 2021 Lodge dues have been paid for this year.    For all other Arrowman, 2021 OA Dues can be paid separately at http://www.91bsa.org/oadues.

All attendees MUST pre-register before the weekend.  No onsite registration is allowed.   Pre-Registration for this event can be made in the following ways:

Do not Forget to Bring:

  • BSA Medical Form Part A-B and COVID Waiver Form  (Click the links to complete the forms) – Either email it to oacommunication091@gmail.com or bring a completed form to the event.  One must be on file for each attendee for Lodge Events in 2021.
  • Regular gear for a scout outing – OA Sash, Official BSA Class A uniform, sleeping gear to stay in Bradshaw, etc.
  • Money for the Lodge Trading Post.
  • Bring your best Western duds (OPTIONAL but it must be scout appropriate and all props must be plastic or foam) on Saturday night.  A prize will be awarded to the best costume(s).
  • Do not forget to bring your work clothes, closed toe shoes, work gloves, safety glasses and water bottle.   Once projects are set up a list of needed tools/supplies will be emailed.
  • SAFETY PRECAUTIONS – We will take the needed safety precautions to keep Lodge members safe to include but not limited to the following: 6ft social distancing, masks, personal water bottle and extra water for your use only, and hand washing/sanitizing stations.   During meals, we will implement food serving safety measures.  If you have a fever or are not feeling well before or the day of the event, please stay home.
