Saugahatchee District Round Table
Round Table is a monthly supplemental training for volunteers at the unit level. The objectives of Round Tables are to provide leaders with program ideas; information on policy and events; and training opportunities. It is a forum for sharing experiences and enjoying fun and fellowship with other Scout leaders.
Round Table is usually held on the 1st Thursday of each month (holiday and summer schedule may apply) beginning at 6:30 pm CST. We meet at Trinity UMC on 2nd Ave in Opelika. We will not meet in January, March due to the District Banquet or July due to Independence day.
Topics vary each month. The agenda usually includes a safety moment, open forum for sharing, relevant training (scoutbook, beascout.org, etc.), and sharing information on upcoming events.
Anyone with who would like to suggest topics for Round Table should contact the Round Table Commissioner.
